There is nothing more beautiful than having a baby. The only problem is the baby belly that is left hanging around your stomach and love handles once you have given birth. There is only one way to remedy this but it can be difficult for the new mommy who is still recovering. By starting a proper diet coupled with love handle exercises you will help to knock out the love handles and baby belly. It will also help you to feel more energized. This will help you spend more quality time with your new little one. Listed below are some love handle exercises that will help you drop those rolls and find your way back to the shape you previously enjoyed. Make sure you check with your doctor before starting and warm up so you can avoid injury.
- The first of the love handle exercises is the Contraction.
This is an intense exercise that involves many reps and moving quickly. Sit in a comfortable chair and place a hand below your belly button and the other one above it. This will allow you to feel your abs contract as you perform these love handle exercises. Take a breath and exhale allowing your belly to pull about halfway to your back. Once you reach the halfway point pull your belly button in toward your back. Next you will contract for a one count. Release to the exhalation halfway point and repeat. You should repeat these love handle exercises 100 times.
- The next of the love handle exercises is the Crunchless Crunch.
This exercise is performed while either lying on your back or kneeling. Find out which is best for you since it differs from person to person. Try to relax as much as possible. You will then use your lower abs to draw your belly button in toward your backbone. Once you reach the furthest point possible hold in for ten seconds or longer if this is too easy. Basically you are looking to hold until you cannot feel the contraction of your muscles any more. These love handle exercises should be stopped once you cannot feel the contractions.
- The last of the love handle exercises is the Progressive Crunchless Crunch.
This is similar to the Contraction but can be a little less challenging. Sit in a comfortable chair and place a hand above and one below your belly button. This will help you to feel your abs start contracting. Breathe in deeply and allow your midsection to expand. Now, begin to exhale slowly while pulling in your stomach. Imagine an invisible string attached to your belly button is being pulled toward your backbone. One you exhale completely perform five ab contractions. Do a full set of repetitions of these love handle exercises
By performing these love handle exercises in what spare time you have you can tone up that baby belly and be back into shape in no time at all.
