The best exercises for love handles are actually very easy to follow and implement. In order to be effective you will have to do them on a very consistant basis. I recommend that you combine exercise and a proper diet to rid yourself of the ugly love handles.
One of the best exercises to do is the typical situp. Everyone makes this more complicated than what it needs to be.
Just lay down with your back on the floor and attempt to lift your chin to the ceiling. The common mistake is to think you need to touch your chin to your knee but this is not necessary. The majority of the exercise benefit is achieved at the point of lifting your head from the floor. Just small movements above the floor will work.
Another exercise for love handles I like is the standing twisting motion. If you take a broom or stick and place it behind your head and begin twisting you will feel the burn on your sides. Do this for 20 twist and 3 times each.
