One of the secrets to getting an honest to goodness full body workout is to include time for recovery. Heavy weights can help you reach maximum muscle contraction. Without a recovery period however it would only lead to a quick burnout.

A Great Time Saver

One thing you will find about a full body workout is that it can actually save you a good deal of time. Believe it or not your trips to the gym will be reduced. This means instead of five days a week or more two or three would suffice.

This also means that instead of having to spend in excess of two hours doing hard exercise you would be spending about an hour per workout session. Can you imagine getting a full body workout in just three or four hours each week? The whole point behind doing a full body workout is that you focus on quality of the exercises rather than quantity. The time that you are spending per session will not even be a determining factor.

One of the things about the full body workout is that is actually jacks up your cardio system to help you hit that extreme fitness level. Each of your one hour sessions should include time for between two and four sets of exercises per muscle group to be worked. This means that your exercise session will be jam packed and leave you up to speed in no time.

Full Body Workout Rules to be Followed

#1 Heavy Loads Ahead – One thing that many people have been told is that it is not the size of the weight but about the number of reps. In all actuality, the weight you are lifting can have a massive impact.  By lifting lighter loads consistently you will begin to build muscle memory which can be a workout killer. By working with heavier loads you will be much more like to hit the goal you are shooting for.

#2 Two or Three Days Max – For those of you who did not catch on earlier, this is the weekly limit on the number of days you should be spending in the gym. Anything more than two or three days can actually be a hindrance to your extreme fitness workout. If you are looking to add some cardio exercises into the routine then it is best to add them on your off days. Cardio performed after an intense weight oriented workout does not tend to be effective at all.

#3 Keep It Short And Sweet – The one thing about resistance training is that it has a natural effect on your hormone groups that affect muscle building. By practicing intense bouts of exercising you will help boost you will kick in an increase in testosterone. By drawing this sort of intensity out you will also increase your catabolic cortisol levels. This is why a one hour routine is ideal. It helps combine both of the two worlds.

#4 Each Muscle Group Gets One Exercise – Make sure that you follow this particular rule. By performing an intense yet simple exercise for each muscle group just means that you do not have to do two or three separate exercise for that particular group.

Now you know some of the secrets to reaching your extreme fitness goal. You should now be prepared to get out there and start getting that ripped body you have been aiming for.

Hey, thanks for posting such great exercises. I gotta say, since trying out some of your routines and exercises my love handles have shrunk considerably! In fact the wife is getting a bit nostalgic and misses them already : )
